!!!!!!!Thank You!!!!!!!
The Firefighters of the San Miguel Fire Department would like to thank everyone who came and showed support at the recent Board Meeting. Three Firefighter's careers were saved and the best interest of the public preserved. We are looking foreward to our Fire Department working as a whole to navigate these tough times. Working as a team to overcome these obstacles will bring us together and we will prove that even in tough times we are the best Fire Department around!
Fire Boots vs Leather Loafers
What do you want YOUR Fire Department to wear?
- San Miguel has lost 8 Firefighters without replacing them.
- They have hired 3 more people upstairs who don’t fight fires or come to your house during an emergency!
- Firefighters agreed to have their pay slashed 9% along with a pay freeze and no promotions.
- Meanwhile, Fire Chief Augie Ghio and his Division Chiefs received a pay RAISE?!
- San Miguel lost an Engine Company in the heart of the District.
- Chiefs and Staff continue to drive home unmarked cars that your taxes bought!
- Current Score: Leather Loafers: 4 Fire Boots: -8
